PaySplitter is an expense calculation tool, not a financial broker. Here is how we handle voluntary payment identifiers and Settle Up transfers:
Adding a UPI ID is completely optional. All splitting algorithms, Digital Pot ledgers, and trip balances function completely without saving any payment details.
We do not touch, process, or hold any money. We never ask for UPI PINs, CVVs, or OTPs. Payments occur directly peer-to-peer via your installed UPI apps.
Your saved UPI ID is only visible to members inside your shared private trips in the Settle Up screen so they can copy your VPA or scan your QR code to pay dues.
The "Receiver UPI Details" section is included in exported PDF summaries only if members have voluntarily saved a UPI ID. If no UPI IDs exist, the section is completely omitted.
In full accordance with GDPR and Google Play Developer Policies, you possess the absolute Right to be Forgotten. You can permanently erase your entire profile and login credentials directly from inside the app.

Your GPS data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. Location history is strictly bound to your active trips. If you delete a trip or request account erasure, all associated location data is immediately and permanently destroyed. We do not monetize or share movement data with third parties.
